HOWDY!

My name is Jim Schutt. My wife and I live in Madison County, Texas on forty acres we share with dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, goats, donkeys, cattle, and the attendant assortment of wildlife.

We raise Miniature Herefords for sale to other 'Mini' owners for either breeding or for show and to those who just want some cattle on their property they can handle. Presently we are expanding our efforts in developing our herd for grass-fed beef sales. We have offered sales of sides and quarters in the past and will continue to so.

I have always been focused on hormone and antibiotic-free, pasture-raised animals using a low-stress, management intensive approach. Our program places an emphasis on a strict management regime designed to produce the most tender and flavorful beef raised in the best of conditions.

Check out our other pages to learn more about our efforts. We are always happy to entertain visitors to see our herd and learn more about the benefits of humanely-raised, grass fed beef. If you are considering raising miniature herefords and would like to "talk cattle-raising", please feel free to come by and ask all the questions you like.
